Dr. Roberts conducts research and extension programs on the diagnosis, epidemiology, and integrated management of plant diseases with emphasis on diseases on vegetables. The program includes the, and integrated management of diseases on vegetable. Current research projects include bacterial spot and canker (Xanthomonas sp.) and late blight (Phytophthora infestans) and watermelon vine decline (Squash vein yellowing virus) on watermelon. She manages the Plant Diagnostic Clinic at Southwest Florida Research and Education Center, Immokalee.
