HLB LAB Home : Sampling and Shipping : Sample Submission Form : External Resources
Welcome to the HLB Lab at UF/IFAS/SWFREC in Immokalee. We are a new facility dedicated to the molecular diagnostics of Huanglongbing (HLB), also known as Greening disease of citrus. We are currently accepting suspect HLB citrus samples from growers, researchers and homeowners. Each sample must be accompanied by a completed sample submission form available here: HLB Sample Submission Form Sample information can also be submitted by e-mail to hlblab@ufl.edu . A table format including sample ID, variety, collection date, block, row/tree number, and township/range/section is the preferred format for e-mail submission. For sampling instructions, please refer to “Procedure for Sampling and Shipping Plant Material”. If you intend to submit numerous samples, please give us a call at 239-658-3400, we will be glad to coordinate the best time to process your samples. We are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00PM. |
